Who is the Word?
The secret is revealed in Genesis:
Genesis 2:18 “Then the LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is like him.”
Here is the revelation of why the Word was created. Yahweh no longer desired to be alone. If you have ever been in total isolation, then you know what that feels like to have no one around. You start to miss your mate and companionship in general. That was the same feeling that the Father Yahweh experienced. He wanted to have what Genesis 2:20 quoted in part “… no helper was found who was like him.” Yahweh wanted someone who would be “like him: in his exact image of attributes.
The Word, like Adam, represents the male side of Yahweh therefore he was a compliment to Yahweh.
Genesis 2:21 “So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to come over the man, and he slept. God took one of his ribs and closed the flesh at that place.”
Just as the Word (who was also a God in Yahweh’s eyes) had taken Eve from the body of Adam to create her, Yahweh had directly created the Word from Himself. And since the Word was created directly from Yahweh, it can be said that Yahweh also created all things, because the Word is an extension of Yahweh, as so are we in unified creation. The creation as a whole is unified as helping and serving one another. Remember the Scripture that says to be great you must be a servant of others. It was The Word (Yahweh’s Spokesman), who later became Jesus Christ.
First, the beginnings Proverbs 8:22 “The LORD made me at the beginning of His creation, before His works of long ago.”
That was the Word’s beginning, which at that time put him into ETERNITY with his Father, Yahweh.
Proverbs 8:30 “I was a skilled craftsman beside Him. I was His delight every day, always rejoicing before Him.”
So, although it’s technically correct to attribute all creation to Yahweh, it was The Word who was the “skilled craftsman” and that was of a lessor God, but created the invisible and visible beginning, at Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
Reference Scriptures also include the following:
Colossians 1:15-17 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation; because by Him everything was created, in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities – all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things and by Him all things hold together.
Note that it said, “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation”
That is because The Word was created in the EXACT image as God and while there is only ONE Almighty God (The Father) The Word is also a lessor God referred to as Mighty God.
John 17:5 Now, Father, glorify me in Your presence with that glory I had with You before the world existed.
“Before the world existed”. The Word was with God before the world existed. The following scripture also shows how Jesus existed as The Word before all else.
John 8:58 Jesus said to them, “I assure you: Before Abraham was, I am.”
John 1:1-3 and Scripture 10 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were created through Him, and apart from Him not one thing was created that has been created.” & He was in the world, and the world was created through Him, yet the world did not recognize Him. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was WITH God and the Word was God. He was God because he was made in God’s exact image, making him the mighty God as the Father is the Almighty God. In the next scripture Jesus explains that he is leaving and returning to his Father, who is GREATER than he.
John 14:28 You have heard Me tell you, ‘I am going away and I am coming to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I.
Do you know who Christ truly is? That he was first The Word and became Jesus Christ? Paul speaks of truly coming to know who Christ was in the following scriptures:
Philippians 3:7-8 But everything that was a gain to me, I have considered to be a loss because of Christ. More than that, I also consider everything to be a loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. Because of Him I have suffered the loss of all things and consider them filth, so that I may gain Christ.
1 Corinthians 11:3 But I want you to know that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of the woman, and God is the head of Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:28 And when everything is subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who subjected everything to Him, so that God may be all in all.
John 5:19 Then Jesus replied, “I assure you: The Son is not able to do anything on His own, but only what He sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, the Son also does these things in the same way.
Isaiah 9:6 For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on His shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
The Son of God is not God the Father. He is the Son of the Father and he was created in the exact image of the Father. He was called The Word. The Word became Jesus Christ. He is also the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father and Prince of Peace. Here are some more scriptures to consider:
“I, Wisdom, share a home with shrewdness and have knowledge and discretion.” The Word Shares a home with who? Yahweh, his Father.
There, he gained wisdom with knowledge, and shrewdness from his Father. Since he was a skilled master worker, and Yahweh is a Creator, what kind of knowledge did the Word attain? How to CREATE. How to LOVE. How to be RIGHTEOUS, among the many wise things his Father taught to him.
“To fear the LORD is to hate evil. I hate arrogant pride, evil conduct, and perverse speech.” Satan has arrogant pride, as many humans do.
His conduct in sinning was evil; his continued conduct is evil, as those that follow in his footsteps.
“I possess good advice and competence; I have understanding and strength.” The Word got good advice on creating things; and we know the Word did competent work under his Father’s direction.
“I walk in the way of righteousness, along the paths of justice,” The Word walks with Yahweh. Yahweh’s path is righteousness and a scale of balanced justice for all creation.
I was formed before ancient times, from the beginning, before the earth began.” The Words own beginning into Eternity.
“I was brought forth when there were no watery depths and no springs filled with water. I was brought forth before the mountains and hills were established, before He made the land, the fields, or the first soil on earth. I was there when He established the heavens, when He laid out the horizon on the surface of the ocean, when He placed the skies above, when the fountains of the ocean gushed forth, when He set a limit for the sea so that the waters would not violate His command, when He laid out the foundations of the earth.”
Those Scriptures reveal that Yahweh was the POWER SOURCE for all of the Word’s skilled craftsmanship. The reason – look out your window. Yahweh is everywhere, and everything you see. He is the total sum of all in existence. Apart from Him, there is no existence. All remains in existence by His Will and limitless power. That is why it is also proper to attribute all creation to Yahweh. But, because the Word
took part in the beginning of his own skilled craftsmanship – ALL THINGS HOLD TOGETHER THROUGH HIM AND FOR HIM.
Colossians 1:15-17 ” He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation;”
Firstborn – over ALL CREATION. That means the Word’s beginning is separate from the things he created. And, his Father is INVISIBLE, except for His VAST LIGHT OF POWER that emanate from Him at Zion. All things originated there, and like a Tree, Yahweh branches out throughout all creation because by Him everything was created, in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities— all things have been created through Him and for Him. Created by the Word – through him, – by Yahweh’s vast power source, and for him, because he is Yahweh’s Only Begotten Son. Yahweh owns everything.
He is before all things, and by Him all things hold together. The Word was created – had his own beginning, so he is BEFORE ALL THINGS that he later created. By Him – is YAHWEH. The Word sits by his Father the 8 of Completeness. And by the Word who was created in the image of his Father Yahweh, all things hold together. That is because Yahweh holds creation together via the Word’s faithfulness to complete his mission of Salvation to the faithful subjects the Kingdom rightfully belongs to. Without the success of the Ransom Sacrifice, nothing the Word created would have held together. “by Him all things hold together.” That is why Christ sits next to his Father. His Father is beside him, and who is the sustainer of all things in existence?
Yahweh is the Creator of spirit energy. The Word was first created as a spirit.
Hebrews 1:7 “And about the angels He says: He makes His angels winds, and His servants a fiery flame;”
That reveals they are of powerful design other than flesh.
Luke 24:39 “Look at My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself! Touch Me and see, because a ghost does not have flesh and bones as you can see I have.”
No spirit energy possesses flesh. So Yahweh started off the Word in the spirit realm as a spirit.
But, Yahweh ONLY directly created one thing: The Word. The REST of creation, including the Angels, the Heavens, the invisible and visible creations, Mankind – were all created by the Word. That is one of the MYSTERIES revealed about who and what the Word is all about. It is what ELUDES the Bible Scholars that lack insight from Holy Spirit. It is also part of what Christ is to be HONORED – that concerning his Sacrifice. That is the reason that Trinitarian belief is an ABOMINATION in Yahweh’s eyes.
2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
Revealing Christ was created a spirit. Though he became a mortal human, he later was resurrected in a spirit body once again. In his Father’s House, there is freedom from sin.
1 Timothy 1:17 “Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.”
Yahweh is more than a spirit. For He is the source of both spirit energy and all else that’s in existence.
Psalm 90:2 ” Before the mountains were born, before You gave birth to the earth and the world, from eternity to eternity, You are God. “
Don’t limit your thinking entirely to the earth on this one. The mountains it speaks of are Zion, and the mountains of Princes in the heavens.
The Princes of the Angelic Orders are considered atop Mountains by their rank in the Heaven. This Scripture also points out that all things spawn from Yahweh’s continued existence that has been from eternity to eternity. That means there’s no beginning and no end for Yahweh. He has quite simply always existed.
